Turbulance

Love this ad. It really explains all how my Saab 9-5 handles on the freeway.

State of Independence

Saab History asked the reader to vote on their favorite Saab slogan. Vote your fav and see the results there. I like the State of Independence one. We're not driving a wholesale car yet it's not crappy made like most American and some European brands. I also like Gill Sans font. Became my favorite after my favorite professor, Michael D. Smith, used it in his decks and Saab has announced it as their official font.

Car Safety Ratings

This Insurance Institute for Highway Safety site is pretty cool. Just select make and model of the car you own or plan to buy on the right pane. See sample for our Saab 9-5 over here. Too bad our model is 2000/01 so it just got average rating.

Saab Transformers

I've seen this commercial for ages, long before the Transformers hype, but totally forgot about it. Although GM is a big sponsor of Transformers the movie, they didn't really feature Saab in there. Saab 9-7x sucks but the ads looks really cool though.

Car Ad Fights

One thing I really like about US is that they're so open about ad fights. Unlike Dtac and AIS case Thai people experienced a couple of years ago, advertisers here are not really afraid of attacking competitors with funny (and sometime hurting) ads campaign. See what happened with innocent-looking jag when faced with fierce 5-series eyes:

Not enough? See Multiple-party war here. I found it incredibly funny and am glad that my colleague's dad who just got a Bentley really like it.

The Brand-new Lexus Self-Parking Demo

As always, the early adopters always suffer the pain of new technologies such as this one.

Speeder's Nightmare

German police department just hired Brabus to build a speeding chaser which should be able to catch any speeder pretty easily. Isn't this awesome (and it looks cool too!)
