We slept in a little bit on Day 5. Then, we took Antelope Canyon Tours which I thought was a little overpriced (and overrated)

I would say this was my favorite spot of the trip. The Horseshoe Bend. If you follow the link, you'll see how beautiful it is during the daytime. But this was what we could take given a very minimal level of light when we arrived as well as everyone's fear of height at the lookout.

We didn't have time (and, more important, energy) to finish 4-mile trail to Delicate Arch. This is what we can get from half-an-hour walk to the viewpoint.

We proceeded to Arches National Park on our way to Grand Canyon. Too bad that I forgot to bring my hat from home, it was super dry and hot that day. I then had to borrow P' Win's cap which makes my hair a little bit straight up. It looks funny.

Grand Canyon Trip - Day 1

This marks as the first day of our Grand Canyon - Las Vegas trip. The first "mandatory" jump shot was taken at Bear Lake which is a part of Rocky Mountain, a couple of hours away from Denver. 

I decided to have a haircut last sunday since I feel that my parents will end our relationship if I left my hair longer that that, so will khun kratai. 

My job interview shoes :'( ... This trip made me realize that Timberland makes darn good shoes. 

On the way back, Brian, who is Ali's close hiking friend dropped me home. I gotta take this photo because of this car! Anyway, he said he was thinking of changing to BMW which made me real sad... :P

This was from the point we stopped and turned back after 6-hour hike. Do you see a blue dot at the top of second mountain? That is the lookout my boss intended to take us to. I just found in the website just now about this trail "The hike to the lookout is very difficult and strenuous. The last 0.5 mile of the trail requires mountain climbing equipment expertise. A short, steep section of the Three Fingers Glacier must be traversed, followed by a rocky scramble and ascent of steep ladders to the lookout on the south peak of Three Fingers Mountain. As there is considerable exposure, those using the cabin and ladder must determine for themselves if the climb to the lookout is safe. Maintenance of the lookout is performed by Everett Mountaineers."

Lesson learned: Study the trail before you go hiking!

It was initiated by my boss-Ali who is a serious hiker. We went to Three Finger/Goat Flats. The trail was super hard for me (but my boss mentioned it before we went as 'not super easy') We didn't make it to the lookout since it may have taken us too long but the distance in total was 12 miles. We went up at 11am and came down at 9pm :S This is not even close to my last hike at Rainier...

Ichiro Suzuki: the most famous M's player. He seemed to catch the ball better than being a batter that day. Mariner lost to Athletics 0-5. 

Thanks to Expedia for giving us the tickets to Mariner's Game last Thursday. As show in the picture, it was a wonderful day, but the game sucks :P. Never thought that baseball can be this boring even though I watched it at the field itself...
